Global Fiduciary Services Provider The ILS Group Limited is expanding its growing services offering through the appointment of a Head of Group Compliance and Legal. The Company, which is based in Douglas, has appointed lawyer Martin Kelly to oversee and develop the compliance functions throughout the Group and to provide legal advice and support to clients. Based in the Isle of Man, Martin will work closely with the Board of Directors, along with the Company’s heads of business in the British Virgin Islands, China, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Portugal, Switzerland and South America. This is an important appointment to ILS’s senior management team and demonstrates our commitment to expanding the range of services we want to offer our clients as we move into the next phase of our business development. I am confident Martin will be a great asset to the Group and to our clients, as they face ever increasing complexities of operating a business in this day and age.” Prior to his appointment, Martin was a lawyer at Quinn Legal, where he was responsible for heading up the corporate and commercial team. He was the Company Solicitor at Zurich International Life where he provided a wide range of advice on general commercial, finance and regulatory matters all stemming from the day to day running of a complex life insurance company. He has over 15 years' legal experience and has worked in government, in-house and private practice positions taking on progressively senior positions throughout his career.
