Police are appealing for information in relation to a recent attempt burglary at a property in Kirk Michael. The property on Beachfield Farm Lane, Kirk Michael is known locally as the ‘Steam Centre’. It would appear that the wooden door to the building has been damaged with a blunt instrument, although police are unsure whether entry has been gained. The owner of the property doesn’t believe items to have been stolen during the incident but as a result police are reassuring members of the public that burglaries are rare and advising property owners to secure all premises. During this incident, the sunroof of this vehicle was completely smashed. It is believed that the damage in question took place during the evening of Friday 3rd December 2010. Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have seen any person(s) acting suspiciously in the area.
