by isleofman.com 13th December 2010
While you do a spot of Christmas shopping in Douglas on Saturday 18th December, your children can join in two hours of creative activities in a Christmas Cracker of a Workshop to be held at the Manx Museum. During this special Christmas workshop children will make traditional Christmas tree decorations, Christmas Angels and decorate wren biscuits, which all make lovely handmade presents to give to a friend or family member. The morning session runs from 10am to 12 noon and the afternoon session from 1 to 3pm. There is a limit of 20 children in each session, so booking is essential. Please book places at the Manx Museum Shop, tickets are priced ?5.00 per child. Workshops are aimed at 6 to 12 year olds. While your little ones are busy, take the time to visit the Manx Museum Heritage Shop where you’ll not only avoid the busy high street, but also find unique Manx inspired gifts from books, DVDs, toys and jewellery. The House of Manannan in Peel also has special gifts for all the family or shop from home at www.manxheritageshop.com. ENDS
