Free Disposal of Natural Christmas Trees for Douglas Households

Douglas Borough Council has arranged for Douglas households to have their natural Christmas trees collected free of charge on Saturday January 8 and Sunday January 9, 2011 at designated collection points at the stated times as follows: Noble’s Park (Grandstand car park) Saturday January 8: 9.00 – 9.45am Sunday January 9: 4.00 - 4.45pm Governor’s Hill (Adjacent to play area) Saturday January 8: 10.00 – 10.45am Sunday January 9: 3.00 - 3.45pm Willaston (Snaefell Road, opposite shops) Saturday January 8: 11.00 – 11.45am Sunday January 9: 2.00 – 2.45pm Farmhill (Stevenson’s Way) Saturday January 8: 12.00 – 12.45pm Sunday January 9: 1.00 – 1.45pm Anagh Coar (Car Park) Saturday January 8: 1.00 – 1.45pm Sunday January 9: 12.00 – 12.45pm Pulrose (Outside Douglas Borough Council workshop) Saturday January 8: 2.00 to 2.45pm Sunday January 9: 11.00 to 11.45am Central Promenade (Footway opposite the casino) Saturday January 8: 3.00 – 3.45pm Sunday January 9: 10.00 – 10.45am Lord Street car park (Adjacent to Albert Hotel) Saturday January 8: 4.00 – 4.45pm Sunday January 9: 9.00 – 9.45am. Douglas Borough Council will reuse the chipped material in the Borough’s parks and gardens and also in Summerhill Glen. Natural trees for recycling may also be deposited at the Eastern civic amenity site at Middle River. Ends
