Domestic Refuse Collection
There will be no reduction or change to normal services. Normal collection services will operate up to 24 December, 2010 and will resume on Monday 27 December through to Friday 31 December, 2010. Collection services will continue as normal from Monday 3 January, 2011.
Kerbside Collection Service
No collections 27, 28 and 29 December, 2010 and 3 January, 2011.
Domestic recyclable waste can be taken to the bring sites at the Grandstand, Shoprite in Victoria Road and Tesco.
All collections are as listed in the new calendar. Householders not in receipt of a calendar should telephone 696450.
Eastern Civic Amenity Site
Open every day in winter from 8.00am to 4.00pm, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Cemeteries
The Book of Remembrance (at the main Cemetery in Glencrutchery Road) and the Lawn cemetery will be open as normal daily throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
The cemetery office at Glencrutchery Road will close at 3.30pm on 24 December and re-open for enquiries on 27 December from 9.00am to 11.00am. The office will be open normal business hours on 30 December, close at 3.50pm on Friday 31 December, be open for enquiries on Saturday 1 January, 2011 from 9.00am to 11.00am, and resume normal business hours on Tuesday 4 January, 2011.
Housing Service
The housing service will operate normal office hours throughout the 2010-2011 Christmas and New Year holidays. Out of normal hours, in cases of serious emergency only tenants may call 671100.
