Detective From Isle of Man To Make Crimewatch Appeal

A Detective from the Isle of Man Constabulary will tonight be attending the BBC studios for the broadcast of Crimewatch UK from 9pm on Tuesday 14th December 2010 and the update programme later that same evening. This will be to appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a Che Awembeng Collinswho is wanted for failing to appear and breaching court bail conditions in respect of a rape allegation on the Isle of Man for which he has been charged.” Collins is a non Manx resident and has no ties with the Isle of Man. The victim in this case is also a non Manx resident. This matter has such has no local connections other than the alleged offence being committed here on 29th August 2010. Collins will be featured on the “Wanted” board of the programme where an appeal will be made concerning his whereabouts” ENDS
