Police are appealing for information after a large shop window was damage in Athol Place, Peel. The damage occurred between 4 pm Wednesday 8th December and 9.45 am on Friday 10th December at Athol Place Collectibles. The property owner estimates that the window will cost around ?1000 to replace, so police are extremely keen to speak with anyone who has any information as to how this window became damaged. ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peel Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred opposite Crosby Terrace, Main Road, Crosby on Monday 13th December 2010 shortly after midnight. The accident involved a Blue Ford Focus which was parked at the location, and was hit by an unidentified vehicle, travelling towards Ballacraine, resulting in the Focus being badly damaged. Police would like to speak to the driver of the unidentified vehicle, and anyone who may have witnessed the accident occur. Anyone who may have information that can assist the Police enquires are asked to contact PC 40 Traviss at Peel Police Station on 631551 or via e-mail Andrew.Traviss@gov.im ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ramsey Police are investigating a complaint of attempted theft in the area of Bowring Road and Close Ny Mooragh, Ramsey on the evening of Monday 13th December into the morning of Tuesday 14th December. As part of this investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who has noted any items missing or is aware of any interference with their property in the area. Anybody with information about the incident or who has noted any suspicious activity in this area around the material times should contact Pc48 Eric SLOANE at Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Ramsey police would like to take this opportunity to ask members of the public to be vigilant to the potential theft of property if left lying around unattended. This is particularly true in respect of tools and building material.
