Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred sometime between 11:30 am and 15:30 pm on Wednesday 15th December 2010, in the area of Loch Promenade Douglas. As a result of the collision, a dark blue Volkswagen Golf motor vehicle which was stationary and unattended at the time, sustained severe damage to the rear driver’s side panel. The offending vehicle failed to stop and report the incident. The point of collision on the damaged vehicle is higher than that which would be expected from a car, and it is believed that the offending vehicle may be a commercial vehicle.
Any persons in the area of Loch Promenade at the time of the collision are urged to contact Police, with any information which could assist our enquiries.
