Between 11pm on Thursday 16th December 2010 and 0000am on Friday 17th December 2010 a silver Ford Fusion that was parked in College View, Castletown was hit by another unknown vehicle causing damage to the rear drivers side of the Ford Fusion. The owner of the other vehicle did not stop or leave their details at the scene and police are anxious to trace this driver so that details can be exchanged. The roads were very icy and deep in snow at the time so this may have been caused by the poor conditions of the road but drivers should still leave their details a the scene of collisions. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Castletown Police station. Oic PC 206 Kennaugh ENDS. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are investigating damage to caused to a shop window in Port Erin. Just after midnight on Saturday 18th December, 2010, damage was caused to the front window of Ken Quine’s Hardware Shop, Station Road, Port Erin. As a result the window, which is about 6’ x 4’ in size, was left cracked and damaged beyond repair. Anybody with any information about the matter is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station, on 832222. ENDS
