KPMG’s local Advisory offering, for which Micky now has oversight responsibilities, covers a range of services drawing on a growing team of Advisory specialists. Notable specialisms locally include;
•Regulatory and Compliance, led by Sinead O’Connor

Micky is also responsible for building new markets and relationships for the firm across all its service lines; including its 50-strong Audit team and its growing Tax team, led by Greg Jones. As part of this role, she was instrumental in organising the recent eGaming Summit and the launch of the eClub, which had its inaugural drinks at the Courthouse Club in early December.
The evening at Coast was a convivial one, attended by 140 local business people, and the Minister for Economic Development, Allan Bell, kindly offered to kick things off with a few words. David McGarry followed to say ‘We have worked hard over the years to build a culture at KPMG where our people feel empowered, supported and encouraged to achieve at the highest levels, and have been rewarded with a wealth of homegrown talent coming up through the ranks. Micky is the latest of our recent appointments to Associate Directors, which included David Parsons, Simon Nicholas and Nick Quayle, and this now puts us in a strong position to maintain our growth and performance in the future’.
Micky, who finished the speeches with a heartfelt thank you to all present, said ‘Tonight was a lovely night for me, not only as the pinnacle of what has been a happy fourteen years with KPMG, but especially because the majority of my closest clients and contacts were able to be there to celebrate with me.’
