Time and date of issue: 12:41hrs - 24/12/2010 Department: DNPT Constable Ben Horan from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred between 6.00pm on Thursday 23rd December 2010 and 10.00am on Friday 24th December 2010. Between the stated times a silver BMW was parked at the roadside in Kensington Road, DOUGLAS. When the owner returned to their car, they found it to be dented behind the front driver’s side wheel. It appears that the damage may have been caused by another vehicle as there has been red paint transferred onto the BMW. Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have been involved in or seen the incident. If you have any information regarding this matter, then please contact Police immediately. Ends Information Request, Media Release Time and date of issue: 23/12/2010 - 16:04 hours Police are appealing information regarding an incident of criminal damage which occurred to a front door of a property on Hazel Crescent between 03.00am and 11.00am on Thursday 23rd December 2010. The damage consists of paint being used to deface the door, Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen persons acting suspiciously in the area during the times given.
