Officers from Onchan Police Station are investigating an act of Criminal damage that has occurred between 8.15pm on Friday 31st December 2010 and 10am on Saturday 1st January 2011. Damage has been caused to all four tyres on a Blue Motor vehicle that was parked in the Mines Tavern car park ,Laxey. Constable Andrew Teare requests anyone with information to contact him at Onchan Police Station.

During the early hours of Saturday 1st January between 02.15am and 02.45am an adult male was assaulted in the Oak Avenue area of Pulrose. It is believed that there were numerous witnesses to this incident who have not yet spoken to Police. Although the male’s injuries were not serious, the behaviour that was displayed was unacceptable and reported as being unprovoked.

Officers are investigating a fight that took place outside Moby Dicks, Central Promenade, Douglas at around 2:20am on New Year’s Day.
The fight involved up to 5 or 6 people, both male and female.
2 males and a female were transported to Nobles A&E for treatment to facial and limb injuries. They were discharged following treatment. A male was arrested at the scene and is currently helping Police with their enquiries. A second male was subsequently arrested several hours later.
There were a large number of people in the area at the time, and despite there being early arrests, Police would ask anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
