Joanna Lannon has joined Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited as Senior Securities Dealer. Joanna has more than a decade of experience in the Finance Sector having previously worked for Anglo Irish Bank and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (ACSI). In regard to her appointment Joanna commented: “I am very excited about joining the team at Thomas Miller Investment. The transition from banking to investments has been very interesting and provides a great opportunity for me to build on my existing expertise. I'm looking forward to an exciting and challenging future with Thomas Miller Investment.” As part of Thomas Miller Investment’s ongoing commitment to the development of its employees, Harriet Phillips has been promoted to the Dealing Team from her previous role in Operations. Joanna and Harriet’s appointments further strengthen Thomas Miller Investment’s Isle of Man based Dealing Team which is responsible for placing trades for all Institutional and Private Clients. This encompasses a broad range of asset classes including Fixed Income, Money Market, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Hedge Funds and the Group’s Managed Funds. The annual value of transactions undertaken in 2010 was in the region of $11bn.
