PwC Rubies 35 - Ballasalla B 34 This Sunday's fixture saw a closely matched battle between premier league teams PwC rubies and SMP Ballasalla B. Ballasalla B pulled ahead by 1 at the end of the first quarter to leave the score at PwC Rubies 8 - Ballasalla B 9. Not to beat beaten PwC Rubies fought back with superb shooting evening the score to a 15 all draw at half time. Ballasalla B pulled ahead with a four goal lead in the third quarter but PwC Rubies pulled out all the stops to close the gap in the final quarter with some fantastic inter-circle defence by PwC Rubies' Holly Saxon and Kelly Sherratt. The final five minutes saw neither team willing to concede victory with each centre being used as a goal scoring advantage. In the end the final whistle saw PwC Rubies narrowly grab a hard won victory.
