Hillary House

At approximately 3.15pm this afternoon (Friday 14th January 2011) police officers were called to Hillary House, Prospect Hill Douglas, after information was received which suggested that an explosive device may have been on the premises. As a matter of precaution the building was been evacuated whilst a cursory search of the building was undertaken. This is ongoing at this time. At 3.25pm Police arrested a 42 year old Douglas man in connection with this matter on suspicion of making a hoax call. He is currently assisting police with their enquiries. ENDS
