On Friday 14th January, 2011, a Doctor from the west of the island was arrested by police and subsequently bailed, without charge, whilst investigations continue. Detective Sergeant Cathryn Bradley of the Criminal Investigation Department said “Information was brought to police that has resulted in an investigation into a Doctor. The investigation does not relate to the Doctors medical competence to practice, nor does it relate to any of his patients or staff. Once enquiries are completed, a file will be submitted to the Attorney General’s Chambers for a decision to be made” ENDS
