SOS for Peel Lifeboat

Peel lifeboat crew and fundraising committee have several functions coming up to support the RNLI SOS Day on 28th.January. On SOS Day the 28th.January the Ladies Lifeboat Guild will be holding a Coffee Morning in St Patricks Church Hall, Patrick Street, Peel from 10am. Admission ?1.00 Also on the 28th the Deeply Dippy swim will return to Peel with 3fm radio and supporters swimming at every station on the Island. This swim alone raised ?10000 in 2010. The swimmers are due in Peel about 1145am please turn out to support them. The same day the ladies will be hosting a quiz to be held in Peel Legion from 8pm. proceeds in aid of SOS Day. On January 30th the crew will be holding a car wash at the boat house from 10am until 3pm. On February 13th at 2-00pm the crew will be taking part in a SOS Challenge a competition between stations to cycle, run and row 8 miles. This will take place in the lifeboat station and the public can become involved if they wish to take part and bring some sponsorship. Or just turn up on the day and throw some coppers in the bucket and support the crew. SOS Day is the main fund raiser nationally for the RNLI so please turn out and support these events.
