IOMSPC Attends Irish Travel Fairs To Promote Island

by isleofman.com 21st January 2011
Representatives from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will attend travel fairs in Ireland over the next two weekends to help promote the Island. The Holiday World Shows take place in Belfast this weekend and Dublin the following weekend, where the Steam Packet Company will join forces with Isle of Man Tourism on the visitisleofman.com stand. Chief Executive Mark Woodward said: ‘These shows offer a superb opportunity to showcase what the Island has to offer visitors and we’re more than happy to support Isle of Man Tourism. Approximately 60 countries will be represented at the shows by more than 1,000 travel representatives, so these are the kind of significant events at which the Island needs to have a presence. ‘With Manannan now covering our Irish routes, we can offer passengers greater levels of comfort and carry bigger vehicles such as coaches and larger motorhomes.’ The first show takes place at Belfast Kings Hall from today (January 21) until January 23, with the Dublin show being held at the RDS Simmonscourt Pavillion from January 28-30.
