Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft which took place in Victoria Street Douglas between 10am and 11am on Wednesday 19th January 2011. Unidentified person(s) have removed a 12 volt DeWalt Drill which was left on the pavement area while the owner worked nearby. Constable Charlene Dooley said “Blatant acts of theft such as this cause unnecessary expense to the victim and I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this or similar incidents to make contact with me at Willaston Police Station on 01624 631212.” Ends
