Danny Feeney Tribute Night

Memories of the life and work of radio personality, bar owner and supply teacher Danny Feeney will be shared at a fundraising ‘I Love Danny’ evening in aid of Age Concern Isle of Man on Saturday February 12. Danny, who co-owned the Guys and Dolls show bar in Walpole Avenue, Douglas with his partner Graham Johnson, died in 2005 aged 50 from cancer. The couple were also well known for the time when they ran the former Molly’s Kitchen in Onchan and the Liverpool Arms in Baldrine. The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will also feature clothes designed by former Isle of Man College art design and textiles lecturer Cas Powles. Tickets, priced ?5 per person to include a welcome cocktail and light snacks, are available from Age Concern Isle of Man, 19 Drinkwater Street, Douglas, IM1 1AT.
