Thirsty music lovers at this year’s Manx Telecom Bay Festival will be able to enjoy the drink of their choice thanks to an agreement with Creativebars, the UK’s leading supplier of bars and catering solutions.
The deal will see Creativebars setting up and running a number of cash only bars at the Festival. Creativebars have unrivalled experience in catering for large crowds, having served over 40,000 people at The Big Chill Festival and over 550,000 pints of lager and cider alone during the last festival season.
Following feedback from those who attended the 2010 Manx Telecom Bay Festival, organisers took the decision to dispense with the token system trialled last year as it created too many queues used for the bars in previous years. Manx Telecom Bay Festival spokesman, Peter Dickson, commented, “Creativebars were the obvious choice for quality and efficiency of service, with all bars having multi-head fillers allowing for a far speedier service to greatly improve the customer experience”
He added “The Manx Telecom Bay Festival is making big steps this year to address comments made by festival goers in previous years to ensure 2011 is the biggest and best Festival ever staged on the Island. Having Creativebars set up and run the bars at the festival will ensure minimal queuing time and more time enjoying the great acts on stage.”
Creativebars will have their own dedicated, trained team to set up and manage the bars. The team brings with them the experience of events on the scale of Sonisphere, The Big Chill and T4 on the Beach and has been selected as a supplier for the 2012 Olympics in London.
