RTC on Mountain Road

Police are appealing for information regarding a Road Traffic collision on the Mountain Road. At around 18.00hrs on Monday 31st January 2011 a Road Traffic Collision has occurred on the Mountain Road close to the Creg Na Baa Public House. One of the vehicles involved in the collision has left the scene prior to police arrival. The vehicle in question is believed to be a dark coloured land rover type vehicle. Constable David Thommeny says at the time the road was heavily populated with traffic and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have details of the vehicle. ENDS
