Duke of Edinburgh Award News

Six young people have recently completed a three week ‘Introduction to the Award’ course, to give them a better understanding of DofE Leaders’ role. This will enable them to assist the Award group at St Ninian’s High School, by giving support, help and advice to other young people participating in the Award. The course covered: • The DofE in general – it’s guiding principles and benefits • It’s structure – who does what? • The different levels and sections • Time scales and age ranges • The various activities that can be completed • Completing the online registration The six young people were: Annabel Grainger Emma Kennaugh James Cherry Ceara Crowe Elly Cain Honor Jude Ends
