Douglas East Charges

The Isle of Man Constabulary can confirm that following investigations into irregularities in voting in the Douglas East Elections 3 people have been charged with offences contrary to the Representation of the Peoples Act 1995 and Forgery and 5 people remain on bail at this time. Those charged appear on 8th March and those on bail answer that bail on 7th Feb. At this time a file is with the Attorney Generals for decision. ENDS
