In conjunction with the demolition of Albert Road School the farmers’ market is to be relocated from the former school’s playground to the nearby MER station car park for five weeks with effect from Saturday February 12. Ramsey Town Commissioners’ chairman Captain Nigel Malpass said: ‘The farmer’s market has become an important weekend attraction in Ramsey; we are therefore very grateful to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure for providing such a suitable and prominent alternative site.’ Ramsey’s farmers’ market is open from 10am to 1pm.
