Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary that occurred around 6.00am at Gayles Fayre, Peveril Road, Peel on Friday 11th February 2011. Unknown offenders have entered the premises by forcing their way in via the front door and have made off with 2 tills containing in total approximately ?480.00. The offenders have then made off in a small white van. Any person with information is asked to contact PC 204 Loader at Peel Police Station on 842208. *************************************************************************************************** Police are investigating an offence of theft whereby a Charity Box has been stolen off the reception desk at the Villa Marina and the contents emptied in the ground near the Bowling Green. Only 1p and 2p’s were left and all larger amounts of coins were taken. This offence is believed to have taken place between Sunday 6th and Wednesday 9th of February 2011.
