Police are wishing to speak with the driver of a red car (no details known) which travelled up Peveril Road, Peel towards the Headlands at around 6.00am on Friday 11th February 2011. This vehicle is believed to have been in front of a small white van which may have been used in the burglary at Gayle’s Fayre. PC Darren Loader said “If you own a red motor vehicle and were travelling up Peveril Road at that time, maybe with a white van following you, can you please contact the police on 631212 as you may have valuable information. Property linked to Gale’s Fayre was recovered at Ballaugh Glen at 2pm today (Friday). If you were in the Ballaugh area between 6am and 2pm today (Friday) and saw a white van or anyone else acting suspiciously, I would ask you to come forward as a matter of urgency” Ends ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a vehicle which was removed from the Tynwald Close area of Peel, between the hours of 19:45 pm on Tuesday 1st February 2011 and 09:00 am on Wednesday 2nd February 2011, without the permission of the owner. This vehicle is a black Seat Leon, registration HMN 727 X, and may be in any area of the Isle of Man. It is believed to be a 2004 model, with no obvious modifications and with a grey/black interior. Any sightings of the vehicle should be reported to any Police Officer or Police Station as soon as possible. ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a yellow Ammann AVP 1240 H Wacker plate and a large quantity of red diesel from a property on the Braaid Road, Marown between 2.30pm Friday 4th February and 12.00pm on Monday 8th February 2011. The Police would like to hear from anyone with information regarding this matter. Ends
