Hit and Run RTC

Police are currently investigating two hit and run road traffic collisions which occurred overnight between Friday 11th and Saturday 12th February 2011. A green coloured BMW motor car was damaged while parked in Heather Crescent, Douglas and a blue coloured Citroen motor car was damaged while parked in Hazel Crescent, Douglas. Pc Dyer from the Road Policing Unit states that he believes that the two incidents are linked. Debris located at the scene of the collisions shows that the offending vehicle was a Citroen and will have suffered extensive damage to its passenger side and the wing mirror will be missing. Anyone with any information as to the identity of the offending vehicle or driver is asked to contact Police Headquarters. ENDS
