Alloms Jewellers Juniors got off to a fine start in League C with a win over Island Exhaust, by the narrowest of margins. Island Exhaust won three games but just fell short on points. Phil Shaw beat Haydn McLarney by a single point over five games while Lee Loughran came from 2-0 down to beat Liam Dixon. For the home side Nathan Quilliam emerged victor after five games against Pete Sharples, while Chris Cave was straight sets winner over Dave Griffiths. In League D Shane Martin prevented a clean sweep for International Divers with a 3-1 win against Ian Barnes while Alliance & Leicester International Lions took maximum points against Onchan Outcasts despite a spirited effort from Keith Whiteway, who lost by one point, against George Griffiths in the fifth game. Motorvation G got their League E campaign off to a flying start with a maximum points win over Body & Mind while BRW Racketeers had the double satisfaction of following their debut league win with a second consecutive win and avenging a first round defeat against BRW Racketeers Academy.
