The Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a quantity of large HGV vehicle batteries from an isolated property in the Cronk y Voddy area. The offence was committed between 7.00pm Thursday 10th February and 7.00am on Friday 11th February 2011. The person(s) responsible would have had to have used a vehicle and the batteries have a black plastic covering. The Police would like to hear from anyone with information regarding this matter or from anyone who has seen or heard vehicle’s acting suspiciously in the area. Ends ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Onchan Police are requesting the assistance of the public in locating a white Volkswagen Caddy van, registration number JMN985A. The vehicle was stolen from Harbour Road, Onchan between 9.30pm on Thursday 10th February and 7am on Friday 11th February 2011. If anyone sees the vehicle or knows the location of the vehicle they are asked to contact Onchan Police Station or any police officer. Ends
