Onchan Police are appealing for information following the theft of a set of aluminium ladders from the rear yard of a house in Royal Avenue Onchan over the last two weeks. The ladders are described as paint splashed. Constable Nigel Smith would like to speak to anyone who has any knowledge of this incident or the location of the ladders. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Onchan Police Station on 675190 ENDS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- During the evening of Friday 11th January 2011 into Saturday 12th January 2011 damage has been caused to a glass window pane at the Market Hall, Market Hill, Douglas. Person(s) unknown have smashed the window located on James Street possibly by throwing an unknown item at the window causing it to smash. If anyone saw this damage being caused or has any idea to who might be responsible they are asked to contact any police officer or ring Police Headquarters on 631212 ENDS
