6.00pm Thursday 17th February officers from The Drug Trafficking Unit arrested three people in the upper Douglas area. They were found to be in possession of 25 kilos of cannabis resin which has an Isle of Man street value of ?108,000. Detective Sergeant Allan Thompson stated, “This is the largest single seizure of cannabis on the Island to date. The three people involved are all from the Merseyside area, one female and two males, they remain in custody and are helping officers with their enquiries”. Ends
