Police are requesting information in relation to a tractor which has been stolen from a farmer’s field adjoining the Ballakillowey A36 road, Colby, at some point in the last month. The grey Ferguson 6 volt vintage tractor described as being a in a substandard condition and lacking its bodywork, was not driveable but was being retained by its owner for a forthcoming young person’s community project. Police believe the offender must have made use of a wagon with some form of lifting device as the gate to the field was locked throughout the period.
