A romantic photo taken on her 19th birthday won Kirsty McCauley a new mobile phone from Manx Telecom. Kirsty won a pink Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro after Manx Telecom teamed up with 3FM and asked listeners to send in romantic snaps for the Valentine’s Day competition. A picture of Kirsty and her boyfriend Gregg O’Neill was chosen as the winner. The photo was taken in a bar in Newcastle-upon-Tyne which had a still image on the wall of a couple in an old movie, and Kirsty and Gregg copied their pose. Kirsty said: “We had the photo framed and when my dad heard about the Manx Telecom and 3FM Valentine’s Day competition he suggested we send the photo in.” Sian Penton, Manx Telecom Product Co-ordinator, presented Kirsty with the Sony Ericcsson X10 Mini Pro, a Manx Telecom goodie bag and a 3FM mug. - ENDS -
