RTC 25/2/11 Victoria Road, Castletown

At approximately 7.40 pm on Friday 25 February 2011 a serious injury road traffic collision occurred on the (A5) Victoria Road, Castletown, near to The Sidings Public House. The collision involved one vehicle and a pedestrian ; A blue coloured scooter, being ridden by a 48 year old male from the South of the Island and a 63 year old pedestrian, alos from the South of the Island. The pedestrian was conveyed to Nobles hospital with serious injuries. The road was closed for approximately 3 ? hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene. Police are asking anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 ENDS
