Marsh IOM is running three risk management courses at the end of March, building on the success of similar training sessions held last year.
The half-day courses will be held at Rose House, Circular Road, Douglas and there are a few places left on each.
The courses are:
• Tuesday, 29 March - An Introduction To Business Continuity Management
• Wednesday, 30 March - Developing a Crisis Management Plan
• Thursday, 31 March - An Introduction to Strategic Risk Management and Risk Registers
Sarah Hewitt, Head of Marsh’s insurance broking operations on the Isle of Man, said: ‘We were delighted with the response from businesses for last year’s courses, and we’ve had another great take-up for this month.
‘However, we do still have a few places available on each course, but they are filling up quickly.’
An Introduction to Business Continuity Management - looks at recognising and measuring significant threats to your business and developing a flexible BCM programme to help your business respond to any unplanned event.
Developing a Crisis Management Plan - looks at what may constitute a crisis for your business, be it a volcanic eruption, pandemic flu or severe weather, the role of the crisis management team, and what you may include in a crisis management plan to ensure an effective response.
An Introduction to Strategic Risk Management - covers risk identification and assessment, risk registers and action plans and reporting structures and audit procedures.
