Appeal For Witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a large quantity of Diesel which has been stolen from a business yard at Mount Murray. The white Diesel has been removed from a large fuel container. The theft occurred between 4:30pm Friday 04th March and 8.00am Monday 07th March 2011. It is believed a vehicle would have been used during the theft. PC 85 Bryn Griffith stated ‘I would encourage all users of external fuel tanks to be extra vigilant and take every precaution to secure any tanks and report any suspicious activity to Police. I would also ask any members of public being offered cheap fuel to report it immediately to the Police.’ PC 85 Griffith can be contacted at Onchan Police Station on 675190 or the Isle of Man Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111 ENDS
