Integrated-Capabilities Ltd of Ramsey has opened a branch in Malta.
The corporate and trust service provider’s Maltese office is in Strait Street in the Island’s capital Valletta. The office is staffed by Sharon Collier who is a Maltese resident and has extensive experience in corporate and trust administration and UK tax advice.
Integrated-Capabilities’ director Kevin Perks said: ‘Initially we were attracted to opening a branch in Malta as the island offers favourable conditions for the marine industry, which complements our yacht management services operated by our affiliate, I-Cap Marine. It soon became clear, however, that as an EU jurisdiction, Malta presented an opportunity for us to take the business into new directions through the provision of Maltese structures not only to new and existing clients but also to other local service providers with clients interested in setting up through Malta. ’
The Maltese operation is confirmation of Integrated-Capabilities’ steady growth strategy. Mr Perks said: ‘Our managing director Kevin Perry founded the company in 2001 with two part-time members of staff and one small office. 10 years on we are a team of 18 with two offices and this summer we will be relocating our Ramsey operation to new purpose-built premises on West Quay, a move that not only demonstrates our commitment to growth but also our confidence in the long-term future of Ramsey.’
Integrated-Capabilities Ltd is licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission to provide corporate and trust services and is authorised to act as a trustee by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
