A League – Results: Island Restorations (135) v Motorvation (100); Jelly Beans (87) v Edgewater B (135); A maximum points win for Edgewater B, over Jelly Beans, lifts them to second place in the table. Jelly Beans score helps them close the gap to those teams above them but is not enough to lift them of the foot of the table. John Knight, for the home side, took a game off Hamish Thornton in a closely fought encounter. Chris Cave and Ian Kelly had straights sets wins over John Coppell and Phil Shaw to give the visitors a clean sweep. Meanwhile Island Restorations beat Motorvation to go to the top of table with Motorvation moving up to third. Travis Friend, for the visitors took a game off Dave O’Neil in a close match where two of the four games went to the deciding point. Paul Barnett and Pete Sharples had straight set wins over Mike Hayler and Chris Moore respectively to give Restorations a maximum points victory.
