Police are appealing for information in relation to a theft that occurred on Ridgeway Street in Douglas between 2.30 and 3.30 PM on Wednesday 14th March 2011. A yellow and black DeWalt cordless drill was stolen, the drill was on the pavement were the owner was working. Police would like to identify two men who were seen walking down Ridgeway Street before turning right along North Quay. Anyone with information is urged to contact PC 267 Jenette MARTIN or any other Police Officer. PC MARTIN stated “THE AREA WAS VERY BUSY AT THE TIME AND THERE IS A HIGH PROBABILITY THAT SOMEONE WITNESSED THIS OPPORTUNISTIC CRIME. I WOULD URGE ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE SEEN ANYTHING TO CONTACT ME” Ends
