Second eClub a Hit!

by isleofman.com 18th March 2011
More than 100 eGaming industry professionals turned out for the second eClub event at The Courthouse Club. The successful event, which was sponsored by ILS Fiduciaries, provided a relaxed atmosphere for those central to the Island’s eGaming industry to network and socialise. Last Thursday’s event featured a complimentary drink on arrival. Professionals from every area of the eGaming sector came along to enjoy drinks and friendly conversation with music by DJ Christian Clague on behalf of Vont and PokerNews. Lee Hills, e-Gaming Coordinator of ILS Fiduciaries, commented: “The eClub is a great place to meet professionals in the eGaming sector. We we’re very keen to be the first independent sponsor as we recognise that it is important to give something back to the industry and support its growth and visibility on the Isle of Man. Last Thursday was a lot of fun and we’re glad so many people turned out for it. It was especially pleasing to hear such positive feedback from representatives of operators.” Organised by KPMG and Continent 8 Technologies, the eClub is a social meeting place for eGaming professionals through which a series of events are planned throughout the year. Richard Ebbutt, Head of Marketing for Continent 8, said: “We’re pleased with this event’s turnout. People from various businesses and age groups were given the opportunity to meet one another. We’re excited with the eClub’s success so far and plan to continue these events throughout the year. We are always looking for interested businesses to sponsor future events. If you would like to get involved with the eClub, please get in touch.” To get an idea of what the eClub is all about, view the video from Thursday’s event at http://blog.yourmoviecrew.com/2011/03/14/isle-of-man-eclub-highlights-video/ courtesy of Glenn Whorrall from Your Movie Crew.
