IOM Squash - Results

by isleofman.com 21st March 2011
Results: C League –Island Exhaust (217) v Jewel Tech (224); D League –Alliance & Leicester International Lions (225) v International Divers (151); Onchan Outcasts (225) v All About Gardens (177); E League – Body & Mind (196) v BRW Racketeers Academy (198); Ian Sheard prevented a Jewel Tech clean sweep as Island Exhaust maintained their top spot in the C League despite being on the wrong side of a score line where four of the five games went the distance. A resounding win for Alliance & Leicester International Lions in their top of the table clash with International Divers consolidated their position at the top of the C League. This result makes the junior side odds-on favourites for the league title in only their second year of adult squash. Onchan Outcasts reversed their previous defeat to All About Gardens with a maximum points win, which lifts them 10 points above Divers whom they meet this week to decide the runners-up spot. Gardens seem destined for bottom place unless they can pull off something extra special in their clash with champions elect Lions. In the E League BRW Racketeers Academy continued their winning ways…bit only just. Jess Dawe took a resounding win for Body & Mind with the other four matches being so closely contested that the result could have gone either way. In the end the visitors managed a two point win despite winning four of five the games.
