Body Discovered in Port St Mary

The Investigation surrounding the body of a man being discovered on Perwick Beach, Port St Mary on Sunday by a member of the public remains ongoing. The man has now been identified as Kenneth Merryweather who was 61 years old from the Laxey area. Members of Mr Merryweather’s family have been informed. Detective Sergeant Andy Pailor said, “The public should be reassured that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Merryweather’s death and the ongoing enquires are a matter of routine”. The coroner of inquests is aware. ENDS
