Eastern Neighbourhood Policing team are requesting witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred on the A23, Mount Rule Road, Strang on Tuesday 22nd March at around 18:45.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa was travelling from Douglas towards Crosby when it overturned after colliding with a hedge, fortunately there were no injuries.
Police would like to trace a small red vehicle, similar in size to a Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa or Renault Clio, which was travelling on this road at the time and may have passed the Silver Corsa prior to its collision. This vehicle would have been travelling towards Douglas and the driver could have information which can help Police with their enquiries.

Constable Alison THOMAS from the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is currently investigating a disturbance which occurred on Clifton Terrace in Douglas between 2.15 am and 2.30 am on Wednesday 23rd March 2011. The incident, which is believed to have involved a number of people fighting, occurred near to the area of the Glen Falcon Gardens.
PC THOMAS said “Four men and a woman who were arrested in connection with the incident are currently being detained at Police Headquarters and will be interviewed today in relation to the matter. This disturbance is believed to have generated quite a lot of noise. I would urge anyone who has seen or heard anything which happened in that area at that time to get in contact with me, or any other police officer, at Lord Street Police Station on 631212. Information can also be given anonymously via the Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111”.
