This week the archers were faced with the challenge of the Vegas round in the handicap league this round is very much a challenge as numbered arrows have to be shot into numbered targets in a triangular pattern with five scoring zones ten down to six. Six personal bests achieved this week from four archers who shot the Vegas for the first time, with the roll of honour starting with the four first timers Charlotte Harris, Kate Dawe, Bradley Layton and Adam Wright and not to be outshined Colin Moore and Barbara Harris also put in fine performances to improve their best. Set up times for Sunday are slightly different to indoors as the is more equipment to set up on the shooting field so everyone is asked to arrive for the morning shoot at 9:30 set up for sighters at 10:30am and the afternoon session is the same 1:30 set up for sighters at 2:00pm finish will be about 5:15 – 5:30pm please remember the shooting field has to be cleared after every shoot so all club members are asked to do their bit.
