Fatal Road Traffic Collision

The police can now confirm the identity of the motorcycle rider who was killed following a collision near to the Hawthorn public house as Alexander Williamson (34), from Peel. The investigation of the circumstances leading to the collision continue, and police would like to repeat their appeal for any witnesses who believe they may have any information that would assist to come forward. The collision between the Suzuki motorcycle and blue Renault Modus occurred at approximately 4.25 pm on Monday 28 March 2011 on the Peel to Douglas Road. The blue Mondeo which was present at the incident was not involved in the collision but its presence may prompt the memory of other witnesses. The motorcycle and the Ford were travelling towards Peel. ENDS
