Police are investigating a burglary at the new playground on Barrule Road, Willaston, Douglas, between 4.45pm on Friday 1st April and 7.45am on Saturday 2nd April 2011.
Between these times a Stihl cutter, a socket set, and a number of fuel containers have been stolen from the site hut.
It is believed that the items were transported by a green wheelbarrow that had also been taken.
Police are interested in speaking to any person who may have information as to those responsible for committing the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen items.

Overnight on Saturday 2nd April 2011, vandals have entered the toilet block, situated at the rear of the bowling green cafe on Peel promenade and set fire to a plastic bin. Extensive fire damage was caused to the bin, walls and ceiling.
This act of Arson was a reckless and dangerous act and had the potential to burn down the whole cafe block causing serious damage.

Constable Ben Horan from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident where a car wing mirror was knocked off a maroon coloured Ford Fiesta on Ballaquayle Road, DOUGLAS, sometime between midday Tuesday 22nd March 2011 and midday Wednesday 23rd March 2011.
PC Horan said “Police would like to hear from anybody who may have seen the incident, know something of it, or been involved.”
