Appleby Isle of Man has announced that Senior Associate, Gill Crennell, has been promoted to the position of Counsel, with effect from 1st April 2011.
Gill is a member of Appleby Isle of Man’s Corporate and Commercial department; she has extensive experience in offshore fund matters, public offers, financial services and regulatory compliance and also specialises in advising on corporate mergers and acquisitions. Sean Dowling, Managing Partner of Appleby’s Isle of Man office, said of the appointment: “This is a thoroughly well-deserved promotion for a key member of our team. Gill’s experience and professionalism have always been valued by her colleagues locally, and I am delighted this has now been recognised at a Group level.”
