Constable Jenette MARTIN from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident of damage to a vehicle caused by a hit and run traffic accident. The incidents occurred between the evening of Saturday 2nd April 2011 and 09.30 pm on Sunday 3rd April 2011 on Market Street Douglas. The vehicle involved is a silver coloured Nissan which has sustained substantial damage to a wing mirror. PC MARTIN said “Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have been involved in, seen or heard the incident as it has resulted in considerable cost and inconvenience to the owner .” If you have any information regarding this matter, then please contact Police immediately.
