Temporary Closure of Albert Road, Ramsey

With effect from 6am Monday April 11 the section of Albert Road between Tower Street and Christian Street in Ramsey will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic while the demolition of Albert Road School takes place. The closure order will remain in force until 6pm on May 1 or until the demolition work is completed, whichever is the earlier. An alternative route will be via Parsonage Road and Queen’s Pier Road. In tandem with the closure of Albert Road parking will be temporarily suspended with effect from 6am on Monday April 11 on the south side of Parsonage Road between Albert Road and the junction with the Manx Electric Railway tramlines. This order will also remain in force until 6pm on May 1 or until the demolition of Albert Road School is completed, whichever is the earlier. ENDS
